1. GENERAL
1.1 Zero tolerance
Wonder and Wild Homeschooling has zero tolerance for parents, relatives, spectators or participants who act in any way deemed to be offensive and/or inappropriate.
1.2 Christ Centered
Wonder and Wild Homeschooling is founded on Christian values and as such the Parents Code of Conduct has been compiled in line with the values and teachings of the Christian faith. We want to ensure all involved in our programs are aware of this and behave accordingly and understand that whilst we hold these values, this does not exclude anyone from participating in our programs and we also value inclusivity and welcome people from all faith backgrounds into our programs and community. These values underpin how we design our programs, communicate with families, and cultivate our community.
1.3 Summary
The below document outlines the specific commitments that parents, relatives, spectators and participants agree to as a part of this code of conduct. If W&W reasonably believes this code of conduct has not been complied with, W&W reserves the right to deny the purchase of and participation in our programs, or remove you from our programs and cancel your access with no refund to be given, including removal from any online groups or forums including facebook groups.
2. PARTICIPATION
2.1 General
By participating in the Wonder & Wild Homeschooling program, parents and guardians agree to uphold the values, policies, and community standards set by Wonder & Wild Homeschooling. Participation in our programs is both a privilege and a partnership built on mutual respect, trust, and shared purpose. We ask all parents to approach their child’s learning journey with patience, positivity, and a spirit of collaboration.
2.2 Respectful Conduct
All parents, carers, and participants are expected to engage with Wonder & Wild staff, volunteers, and other families in a kind, courteous, and respectful manner. This includes communication via email, social media, online groups, and in-person events.
2.3 Alignment with Values
Wonder & Wild Homeschooling is guided by Christian principles of love, integrity, humility, and encouragement. While families from all faith backgrounds are welcome, participation in our community means acknowledging and respecting these values, and the way they inform how we teach, communicate, and serve families.
2.4 Constructive Communication
Parents agree not to engage in any form of direct or indirect public slander, defamation, or negative commentary about Wonder & Wild Homeschooling, its staff, programs, or community members. Concerns or feedback should be directed privately to our team at hello@wonderandwild.com.au, where they will be received with openness and care.
2.5 Supportive Collaboration
Parents are encouraged to contribute positively to the Wonder & Wild community by sharing ideas, celebrating others’ successes, and helping maintain a welcoming and uplifting environment. This includes encouraging others in online spaces and modelling respectful dialogue, even when opinions differ.
3. LANGUAGE & SPEECH
3.1 General
Parents and participants are expected to behave and converse in a civilised and respectful manner at all times towards the W&W management, other parents and participants; and any members of the public who are in any Wonder & Wild setting.
3.2 Swearing
Wonder & Wild Homeschooling has a zero tolerance policy on swearing. Any parent, carer, spectator or participant caught swearing whilst in a W&W chat, facebook group or other group setting will be removed from the group for 1 month. If the behaviour is repeated, their membership will be revoked permanently.
4. COMMUNICATION, PHOTOGRAPHY AND SOCIAL MEDIA
4.1 Online Conduct
Parents and participants must ensure that all communication within Wonder & Wild digital spaces - including forums, chats, and social media groups - remains respectful, kind, and in alignment with our values.
4.2 Representation of Wonder & Wild
When posting publicly about Wonder & Wild, parents agree to represent the brand accurately and respectfully. If you have a concern or complaint, please contact our team directly rather than discussing it publicly online. Continued posts that misrepresent or harm the reputation of W&W may result in removal from groups or revocation of program access.
4.3 Group Management
W&W reserves the right to remove or restrict access to online groups or communication channels if behaviour is inconsistent with this Code of Conduct.
4.4 Parents Photography
4.4.1 Parents are encouraged to take and share photos of their children participating in the Wonder & Wild homeschooling program. However the course material is copyright protected and therefore no part of the programs including but not limited to introductions, outlines or worksheets are to be shared publicly via social media or any other outlet. Please ensure all photos refrain from containing any of this material.
4.4.2 The exception to this is any certificates or awards that we may issue for you to customise for your participants. Please be aware of the safety of your child when posting images online, we encourage parents to avoid posting identifiable details such as surnames, home addresses, or school locations when sharing photos online.
5. COMPLIANCE AND REVIEW
5.1 Wonder & Wild Homeschooling may review and update this Code of Conduct periodically to reflect changes in community standards or operational needs.
5.2 Continued participation in our programs constitutes acceptance of the current version of this Code of Conduct.
