This privacy statement will tell you how you can verify the accuracy of your personal information submitted to White Brae Pty Ltd trading as ‘Wonder & Wild Homeschooling’ and how you can request access to, or that we delete or update your personal information. Any and all data collected by us using our website or our forms, including any personal or sensitive information will be collected, stored and used in accordance with the data protection act 1988, the Australian Privacy Principles and all other applicable Australian federal, state and local laws.
3.3 Data Security
3.3.1 - We are committed to keeping the data you provide us secure and will take reasonable precautions to protect your personal information from loss, misuse or alteration.
3.3.2 - All users with access to any of our or your data will be required to have two factor authentication activated to ensure the highest level of data security.
3.4 Data Breach
3.4.1 - In the event of a data breach, we will notify you via sms text and email. Included in this notification will invoice all (if any) pieces of personal information that have been exposed.
3.4.2 - We will also notify the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) and follow any direction or advice given to us by them.

4. HOW / WHAT WE COLLECT
4.1 Personal Details
We collect personal details that you knowingly provide to us via our forms and via email inquiries. This includes but is not limited to names, emails, addresses, telephone numbers and dates of birth. As our programs are for families, we may collect information about children (such as date of birth) provided by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
4.2 Computer details
4.2.1 - Your IP Address is a string of numbers unique to your computer that is recorded by our web server when you request any page or component on the Website. This information is used to monitor your usage of the Website.
4.2.2 - Aggregate and statistical data recorded by the website which allows us to recognise you and your preferred settings, this saves you from re-entering information on return visits to the site. Such data is recorded locally on your computer through the use of cookies. Most browsers can be programmed to reject, or warn you before downloading cookies, information regarding this may be found in your browser's help facility.
4.3 Storage
4.3.1 - All data collected via our website forms, or updated via emails is stored in the WIX Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, which stores its data in data centers in the United States, Ireland, South Korea, Taiwan, and Israel.
4.3.2 - All users with access to this data are required to have two factor authentication activated to ensure the highest level of data security.
4.4 Retention and Deletion
We will retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Once personal information is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to securely delete or de-identify it. If you request deletion of your personal information, we will action this promptly unless we are legally required to retain certain records (for example, for taxation or accounting purposes).
5. HOW WE USE IT
5.1 Our Programs
Personal information received by you online will only be used by us in order to facilitate our programs and to communicate with you about our programs. This includes placing your child in the correct age appropriate program and being aware of any limitations they may have due to information you have provided.
5.2 Promotional
We will also use your information to promote different aspects of our programs or business to you. This type of promotional communication can be ‘opted out’ from when you give us your data as well as at any point in the form of an ‘unsubscribe’ button at the bottom of our promotional emails. We do not use children’s personal information for direct marketing purposes.
5.3 Administration
We may need to pass the information we collect to other companies for administrative purposes. We may use third parties to carry out certain activities, such as processing and sorting data, monitoring how customers use the website and issuing our emails for us. Third parties will not be allowed to use your personal information for their own purposes.
6. WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
6.1 WIX
We utilize the services of WIX for all our program administration. However we remain the data controller and will not give permission to WIX to use your data for any other purposes.
6.2 Shopify
We utilize the services of Shopify for all our registrations and payments. However we remain the data controller and will not give permission to Shopify to use your data for any other purposes.
6.3 General
We will not share or sell your data to or with any other organisation, company or individual. We take reasonable steps to ensure that any overseas recipients of personal information listed above do not breach the Australian Privacy Principles in relation to the information. By using our services, you consent to your information being stored in these locations.
7. ACCESS TO YOUR DATA
7.1 Request access
You have a right to request a copy of any information we currently hold about you and to request any modification or update to said information. If you would like to access your data, edit your data or have yourself deleted from our system, then you can email us at hello@wonderandwild.com.au and we will activate your request.
7.2 Complaint handling
We are committed to working with customers to obtain a fair and rapid resolution of any complaints or disputes about privacy. If you believe your data has been handled incorrectly, please email the complaint to hello@wonderandwild.com.au. We will then investigate your complaint and respond to you within 48 hours with an outcome which will be in line with the Privacy Act 1988.
